Design & features

UISDC Biaotihei is built on a Hei skeleton with a large face and heavy strokes for a sense of power. Every glyph is slanted 8° horizontally, which gives it strong speed, and the bodies are set wide and flat so the slanted letters still feel stable. It grew out of the headline needs of UISDC's own homepage banners.

The character set contains 6,763 Chinese characters and symbols, covering everyday Simplified Chinese.

Best uses

UISDC Biaotihei shows its personality best in sports and speed themes, article header images and headline captions on app screenshots. On app store screenshots, keep the headline to 6–10 characters per line so it reads in thumbnails.
