Design & features
This is Dream Han Sans, a modification of the variable Source Han Sans by developer Menghuiqionghua. It fixes Source Han Sans's tall default line height and low-sitting glyphs, so centring in Figma or MasterGo no longer looks off. Many intermediate weights from the variable version are instanced as standalone static fonts, with overlapping outlines merged.
Glyphs, vertical layout, kerning, multilingual support and variants are identical to Source Han; it simply offers finer-grained weight choices.
Best uses
Source Han Sans (optimized) shines in interfaces for long reading and website body copy, and is a good fit for supporting text on app screenshots too. In UI, use different weights to separate titles, body and captions instead of mixing many families.
