LINE Seed is LINE's first corporate typeface—a simple gothic whose signature rounded corners, taken from the LINE logo, run through letters, numerals, symbols and icons. Its Japanese version was designed entirely from scratch.

It comes in English, Japanese, Korean and Thai versions; LINE Seed JP has 9,354 characters, including thousands of kanji usable for Chinese.

If you are working on English accents on packaging or English poster headlines, LINE Seed is an easy pick, and it is also worth trying for wordmarks. When mixing with Chinese, nudge the Latin size up slightly so its visual height matches.

Can I use LINE Seed for long passages?
