FAQ

Answers to common questions about AppShotMaker.

Getting started

What is AppShotMaker?

AppShotMaker is an online toolkit for building polished App Store / Google Play screenshots and app icons. Size presets and templates help you ship listing assets without a full design workflow.

Which store sizes are supported?

Apple App Store (iPhone and iPad sizes), Google Play mainstream sizes, and common China Android 1080×1920 presets. Export matches the preset you pick.

Can I use exports commercially for free?

Yes. Assets from the free core tools can be used in commercial projects. Local core features stay free.

Do you upload my images to a server?

No. Processing runs in your browser (Canvas + React). Reads, crops, filters, and exports stay on your device.

Export & formats

What formats can I export?

Preview shots export as high-res PNG in a zip. Most image tools also support JPG / WebP and similar formats.

Why does the preview look soft?

On-screen preview may be downsampled for performance; export keeps full resolution. Use sharp source images close to the target size.

How many preview shots per export?

Up to 5 per session as screenshots.zip named screenshot_1.png and so on.

Accounts & data

Where is my design data stored?

In your browser (LocalStorage / IndexedDB). We do not collect your design images.

Will clearing cache delete my work?

Yes. Clearing site data can wipe progress — export finished assets promptly.
