Douyin Sans was co-designed by Douyin's experience design centre and Founder Type, drawing on the clean style of the Douyin logotype and built as a heavy headline weight. It has a 90% face ratio with open counters, and its stroke details use unusual arcs and chamfers, with smooth large-curvature hooks.

It contains 6,763 Chinese characters and 682 Latin letters, numerals and symbols, following the GB2312-80 Simplified Chinese standard.

Best uses

We recommend Douyin Sans for e-commerce promo banners, variety-show captions and article header images. On app store screenshots, keep the headline to 6–10 characters per line so it reads in thumbnails.
