Design & features

Yanshi Xieheiti was made by "Rensheng Ge" of Keynote Institute from Source Han Sans to provide ready-made oblique Chinese for Keynote and PowerPoint, instead of skewing text in Illustrator or Sketch and pasting it back. The slant brings real speed and impact.

Because it is derived from Source Han Sans, missing characters are essentially not a problem.

Best uses

Stylistically, Yanshi Xieheiti works well for sports and speed themes, variety-show captions and e-commerce promo banners. On app store screenshots, keep the headline to 6–10 characters per line so it reads in thumbnails.

Pairing ideas

Fonts on this site that pair well with Yanshi Xieheiti:

  • OPPO Sans — a neutral face that stays clear at small sizes, ideal for body and supporting text
  • Monaspace — a Latin companion that never competes and has great numerals
