Design & features

cwTeX Ming is adjusted from cwTeX-Q-Fonts and partly modelled on the type of the Kangxi Dictionary. Its structure is solid and dignified, and rounded stroke corners make it gentler and more vintage than a typical Song.

It contains 15,790 characters; some Simplified characters are missing, so switch to Traditional input if needed.

Best uses

Stylistically, cwTeX Ming works well for retro and nostalgic themes, book and magazine pages and long-form reading pages. Pair it with generous white space to bring out its refined character.
