AppShot Maker v2.0 Release Notes: New Features and a Faster Editor

Welcome to the all-new AppShot Maker 2.0!

After weeks of hard work, we're excited to announce: AppShot Maker v2.0 is officially live!

In this release we rebuilt the underlying architecture for much snappier performance, and made major upgrades to the core editing experience.

🚀 Highlights

1. A new canvas rendering engine

Say goodbye to lag. You can now drag and resize every element in real time. Even with very high-resolution source images, the canvas stays smooth.

2. Fully local, front-end processing (completely private)

We removed all server-side image processing. All image rendering, cropping and compression happen locally in your browser. That means:

• Your images are never uploaded to any server: 100% private.
• No more network latency, with generation up to 1000% faster.

3. Per-card styling (the most requested feature!)

Previously you could only change the background color or font for all screenshots at once. Now you can click any screenshot and style it individually:

• A different background gradient
• A different layout (text on top, at the bottom, or centered)
• Its own device frame style

4. Smart previous/next article navigation

In our articles and tutorials section, new navigation at the bottom of each page helps you work through ASO knowledge and design tips more smoothly.

5. Frames for the latest devices

Added the titanium frame for iPhone 15 Pro Max and device models for the latest iPad Pro.

🐛 Bug fixes and improvements

• Fixed .zip downloads failing on some weak network connections.
• Removed an extra beta filing number shown in the footer.
• Improved scrolling of the right-hand toolbar on small laptop screens.
• Fixed a flicker in the navigation bar when switching between some pages.
