Overseas teams entering China often translate the request as “send app screenshots.” Reviewers usually mean proof that the app completed filing (备案), not the marketing gallery you upload for conversion.
Process overviews live in our Android filing guide, HarmonyOS / ICP filing, and iOS App Store Connect filing fields. This page answers only: where to point the camera when the form says 备案截图.
| Type | What reviewers look for | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| A. Filing query / “certificate” shot | Entity name, app name, filing number, approved status | Store credentials, WeChat Open Platform supplements, cloud KYC |
| B. In-app filing-number display | Settings / About / policy page showing the number | Platforms that check “prominent disclosure” |
| C. Store listing UI screenshots | Feature screens | Listing creatives; sizes on the China size hub |
Search intent for “beian screenshot” is almost always A, sometimes plus B. Do not submit C as A.
When a downloadable fancy certificate is unavailable, the accepted practice (also documented by major Chinese cloud filing portals) is to screenshot the query result:
beian.miit.gov.cn).Regulators expect the number in a prominent place; some distributors spot-check it.
APP备案号:… (or the ICP-style label your counsel recommends) on Settings → About or at the foot of the privacy policy.Rejection text that asks for package name and signature from the app-market console wants a store backend screenshot (Huawei, Xiaomi, OPPO, vivo, MyApp, etc.), not the MIIT query page.
| Keyword in the rejection | Upload |
|---|---|
| 备案 / ICP / filing number | Type A (± B) |
| 应用市场 / package / signature | Store developer console |
| Privacy popup / entry | Privacy material screenshots |
For cross-border teams, have the China entity drop a fresh Type A query shot into shared storage whenever a store asks again—stale screenshots cause avoidable loops.
Finish filing first, then capture the query page. That order saves the most review cycles.
