Design & features
Zoomla Mengya is modelled on the lettering of the early-20th-century magazine Mengya (Sprouts). Verticals are thicker at the bottom, horizontals thicker on the left, and corners heavier than the lines—tough, slender and high-contrast.
It includes the 6,763 national-standard Simplified characters; Traditional support is weaker.
Best uses
Zoomla Mengya shows its personality best in retro and nostalgic themes, short-video cover titles and event poster headlines. Heavy headline type pops most on light backgrounds or solid colour blocks.
