PMZD Zhengui Kai was handwritten over nine months by Pang Zhengui, father of the Pangmen Zhengdao founder, at age 76, then rewritten and refined for commercial use. Strokes are even in weight and pressure, so it stays readable even in long passages.

It covers about 6,600 common Simplified characters with almost no gaps; Traditional support is limited.

Best uses

Stylistically, PMZD Zhengui Kai works well for interfaces for long reading, tea, liquor and cultural-product packaging and festival and solar-term designs. Use calligraphic fonts for titles or short text only, and leave plenty of white space.
