Design & features
Huiwen Zhengkai revives the classic Hanwen Zhengkai. Unlike the Founder and Japanese revivals based on drawings or the largest type sizes, it starts from the observation that in the metal-type era each point size was effectively its own font, with its own structures and forms.
Best uses
We recommend Huiwen Zhengkai for retro and nostalgic themes, calligraphic title cards and Chinese-style posters. Use calligraphic fonts for titles or short text only, and leave plenty of white space.

Free for personal and commercial use. Terms can change between versions, so double-check the official notice before commercial release.
How complete is the character set of Huiwen Zhengkai?
The release notes do not list the full character set, so coverage of Simplified, Traditional or Japanese cannot be confirmed. Test it with your real copy after downloading before using it in production.
Can I use Huiwen Zhengkai for long passages?
Not recommended. Calligraphic Huiwen Zhengkai suits titles, signatures and small accents; set body text in Dinglie Songke to keep the cultural tone while staying readable.

Download the files from the Netdisk link and unzip them, then double-click the .ttf or .otf file and choose Install (Windows) or Install Font (macOS). Restart your design app and search for "汇文正楷" in the font list. Figma in the browser needs the Figma font installer to read local fonts.
