Design & features
Maoken Tangyuan extends jf open Huninn with Simplified characters. Strokes slightly overshoot to balance the centre of gravity and squarer forms; dots are lengthened and re-angled, and terminals are rounded with a slight swelling—steady yet cute.
It has added the 3,500 most common Simplified characters, with plans to complete all 6,763 GB2312 characters; inherited forms follow I.Font's checklist.
Best uses
Maoken Tangyuan shows its personality best in dessert and drink posters, baby and kids products and lifestyle social posts. For longer text, choose a lighter weight so it does not look heavy.
