Jiangcheng Yuan comes in 6 weights: the lightest is airy and square, and as weight increases the roundness becomes more pronounced and the forms fuller and cuter. Hei-style foot serifs are removed and even inner corners are smoothed.

It has 6,763 characters including hanzi, Latin letters and Arabic numerals.

Best uses

Jiangcheng Yuan shines in dessert and drink posters and education slides, and is a good fit for baby and kids products too. For longer text, choose a lighter weight so it does not look heavy.
