What this tool does

FAQ
Can I compress a transparent PNG?
Yes, but output is JPG (no alpha). Use WebP convert to keep transparency.
Is this lossless?
Strictly it’s lossy. At 90%+ differences are hard to see, but data is re-encoded.
Any size limits?
One image at a time; ~20MB suggested. Very large images may feel slow in the browser.
