Design & features
Silver is a pixel font made mainly for games, with built-in TRC- and Lotcheck-compatible gamepad button glyphs plus full keyboard and mouse prompts. Its low centre of gravity and flat baseline make it cute and distinctive, and glyphs are about half the size of other pixel fonts at the same point size.
It has 3,933 Simplified and 4,408 Traditional characters; use Traditional characters where Simplified is missing.
Best uses
Stylistically, Silver works well for gaming and esports visuals, pixel-style app icons and screenshots and LED and dot-matrix mockups. Saturated colours or dark backgrounds strengthen the retro-game vibe.
