Design & features

851 Tegaki Zatsu was handwritten by a Japanese designer and looks like everyday ballpoint writing—natural, loose and relaxed, with strokes that are not perfectly straight. The author says he ignored many Japanese glyph standards, hence the name "zatsu" (miscellaneous).

Although Japanese, it includes fairly complete Simplified and Traditional Chinese.

Best uses

We recommend 851 Tegaki Zatsu for merchandise, vlog covers and subtitles and journals and illustration lettering. Handwriting fonts work best for accents and short lines; long text can look messy.
