What this tool does
Not AI: the top-left pixel is treated as background and similar colors (by tolerance) become transparent. Best for solid/near-solid backgrounds (product shots, logos). Local only.
How to use
- Upload an image whose top-left is the background color.
- Tune tolerance (0–255, default 30).
- Download the transparent PNG.
FAQ
Why did part of the subject disappear?
Colors close to the background get removed — lower the tolerance.
White fringe on edges?
Anti-aliasing leftovers. Raising tolerance helps a bit; this isn’t hair-level matting.
