What this tool does
The Image Stitcher (Long Image Maker) joins multiple screenshots or assets into one vertical or horizontal image in your browser: unify to min/max edge or keep originals with left/center/right (or top/middle/bottom) alignment, tune gap and padding, solid or transparent PNG background, live pixel-size preview, then export PNG or JPEG. Built for product long-scroll graphics, chat collages, and design reviews. Fully local—no uploads. Smart overlap dedupe is not in this MVP.
How to use
- Drop, multi-select, or paste (Ctrl/Cmd+V) images; drag thumbnails to reorder.
- Choose vertical or horizontal; set unify, alignment, gap, and background.
- Check the preview size, then export PNG or JPEG (oversized canvases auto-scale with a notice).
FAQ
Do images upload?
No. Decode, stitch, and export stay in your browser.
How is this different from Image to GIF?
GIF makes animations; this tool merges stills into one static long image for articles, store copy, or design reviews.
What if the result is huge?
If it exceeds common canvas limits (~16384px on a side or ~16 megapixels), we scale down proportionally and show a clear notice so the tab does not crash.
Is there smart overlap removal?
Not in this MVP—crop first, then stitch. Overlap dedupe may come later.
