Keep key copy inside the dashed safe area; the center disc simulates video play-button occlusion.
What this tool does
Build the mandatory Google Play 1024×500 Feature Graphic. Theme presets, headline/subheadline, logo and optional screenshot/phone frame with a live preview. Toggle safe-zone and play-button overlays (preview only). Export opaque PNG or JPEG — Canvas stays in your browser.
How to use
- Pick a theme or tune solid/gradient colors.
- Write headline and subhead; optionally add logo/screenshot and enable safe-zone / play overlays.
- Download opaque PNG or JPEG at exactly 1024×500, then upload in Play Console → Graphics → Feature graphic.
FAQ
What size is required?
Exactly 1024×500. Off-by-one pixels usually fail Console validation. This tool locks that canvas.
What is the safe zone?
Surfaces may crop edges or overlay a play control. Keep key art/copy in roughly the center 924×400; leave ~50px margins as background. Overlays never bake into the export.
Are images uploaded?
No. Logo and screenshots are read locally via FileReader; draw and export stay in the browser.
Why opaque export?
Play requires JPEG or 24-bit PNG with no alpha. We always fill a solid/gradient background before export.
Can I use a phone frame?
Google advises avoiding device imagery on Feature Graphics. Frames are optional for off-store creatives; prefer a rounded UI crop or brand visual for the listing.
Open-source notes?
Original slim Canvas tool for AppShotMaker. Optional device frames reuse site previewDevices / composeDeviceMockup. No AGPL dependencies.
